Favicon

A favicon (abbreviation for ‘favourite icon’) is a small symbol that is displayed in the address bar of a browser, in bookmarks and in tabs. It is used to visually label websites and makes it easier for users to recognise and navigate between different websites.

How do I request a new favicon?
If you need a new favicon for your website or portal, you can request one via the Service Desk. Simply make an enquiry with the relevant requirements, such as the desired icon, so that a suitable favicon can be created in accordance with the company guidelines.

Good to know
The logo L is usually used as a favicon for corporate websites and portals. It should also be used as a fallback on other websites and portals if a separate favicon is not created.
